1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Research the areas you like, set a comfortable budget, get pre-approved, inspect thoroughly, negotiate wisely, and consider location and future value. I help with all of this!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Prepare your home with touch up paint and a deep cleaning, price competitively, market effectively, consider curb appeal, and be flexible with showings and negotiations for a quicker sale.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I've worked with both sellers and buyers of which have been from first time home buyers to retired down sizers to experienced investors and first time investors from all walks of life.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I have had this happen a few times, but as an agent is a great accomplishment. Winning a bidding war without the highest monetary offer. A big misunderstanding is that the highest dollar amount offer wins and that's not always the case. I've written offers $15k-$30k under the highest bid and still got under contract. Timing, money and terms all have to be in balance and some sellers value more of one over the other.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Bought my first fixer to live in at 21 years old with my wife. Once rehabbed we understood how much value we added to the house. We were both hook ever since and we both continue to do our own repairs and updates to our homes we buy now.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
My Bachelors in Business Administration and Marketing helps greatly when analyzing data. That could be looking into the home you're wanting to buy and understanding it's true value compared to the listing price. Or could be looking into the value of your home you'd like for me to help sell. Reading and understanding market trends and data is a huge benefit I provide.
