Julie and Mark are a professional Real Estate team who smoothly and quickly sold our home in Almaden. The team approach, including their daughter, leverages each person's skills and enables them to be very responsive throughout the whole process. Specifically in the area of home preparation and inspection, their guidance was crucial to getting the best value for our home. The final negotiation had some twists that Julie managed to our best advantage. All in all, we were very lucky when we selected Julie and her team.
Selling the home you grew up in is never easy, for many reasons. How do you update it enough to get the best return without overdoing it? How do you manage all the work when you no longer live in the area? We interviewed three of the top realtors in the area and decided on the Wyss Group because of their experience, their integrity, and their attention to detail. Their concierge service meant that we didnt have to be on-site for anything. They had a small army of resources to help get the house ready to sell. We appreciated their daily communication during the selling process, as well as their solid advice when it came to receiving offers. I would highly recommend the Wyss Group!
My wife and I had a great experience working with Julie and Mark while purchasing our first home. We felt they both knew the area extremely well and were able to provide helpful context regarding all of the neighbourhoods in the Bay Area. Further, they walked us through the home-purchasing process and gave us the confidence we needed to ultimately choose and purchase our first home. Their experience, advice, and accessibility made our journey much simpler and less stressful than it likely would have been with a different realty team. The process started with an introductory call with both Julie and Mark, in which they got an idea of our priorities with a home to determine how our home search should be filtered. Additionally, they walked us through the homebuying process and gave us actionable next steps. They gave us recommendations on open houses and set up some time for Mark to tour is through some options. Once we had decided on a home, Mark took the lead on negotiating with the sellers agent to secure us a competitive price (we strongly feel that he represented our best interests by working toward the lowest possible price point). After the deal was made, he worked with the appraisal team to ensure that the house was appraised above our purchase price. Finally, he laid out all of the final steps to ensure the deal was executed smoothly and quickly. Overall, the team did a great job at helping us purchase our dream home at a reasonable price. We only have one very small complaint - and that was that there was a transition in which Mark seemed to take over for Julie as our main point of contact. While Mark did an incredible job, we do feel this change could have been communicated more directly to us to avoid any unnecessary confusion. Overall, we would 1000% work with Julie and Mark again and would strongly recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing their 1st or 100th home. The team is kind, easy to get up with, experienced, and overall incredible at what they do!

I can't recommend Mark Wyss enough! Although having purchased properites in other markets before, the bay area market is very different, and he patiently guided me through every step of the process. Julie and her team could not have been better. From the initial meeting with Julie and Mark we knew we were in good hands. They told us about the performance of the neighbourhood in recent sales, what preparation work to do to maximise sale price, what not to do because it would not yield enough in price increase in order to pay for the work, etc. She has another team member, Bianca, who handled all of the day to day coordination of activities, as we are from out of town and we never had to ask about what was going on. Everything was reported promptly. Julie helped us navigate different offers, has knowledge of other local brokers and made recommendations that assisted the deal closing in 30 days with no delays. If we could give a higher rating we could. Look no further than Julie and team!
