1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Get Pre-Approved for a loan. This way you will find out if there are any surprises that can be handled before you enter into a contract to purchase.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Prepare your home for an open Real Estate Market. it’s important you realize how important it is to make sure your home is show room-ready as soon as it’s listed for sale.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with sellers, buyers, pre-foreclosures, short sales and investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Met a buyer at an open house. He was not sure of where or what he wanted. I was able to pin point exactly what he wanted and within a week, he had a contract on a small farm. When searching on his own, he was not able to find anything that he liked. Once I asked questions and pin-pointed his dream home, I was able to locate several. I broadened my search on smaller towns and found the perfect one and it was under his budget, so it was a win win...
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was renovating houses and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to get my license.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have over 30 years of customer service. I also successfully owned a service business,I which grew from the personal customer service and marketing that I did.
With my experience in renovating houses, I do look for flaws in houses as I am going thru. I am able to help the buyer/seller identify some of the issues so that it can be addressed either before it is listed (seller) or noted on the contract to purchase (buyer).
