We hired Julie to sell my childhood home in Foster City after my mom passed away this spring. This was a difficult time for our family and a difficult decision for my siblings and myself to sell our childhood home. It is one of the higher end homes in FC located at the end of one of the islands, i.e. large water view. My dad bought the house new in 1974 and there was a bit of work to do to make it ready for sale. Since I lived out of state, I needed an agent who not only knew the market well, but also had a team to help us stage the house properly. We interviewed a number of good successful agents and chose Julie based on her market knowledge and her direct communication style. She had clear ideas about staging and what needed to be done?..trust me there was a bit to be done. Julie was very prompt on all communication regarding all aspects of cleaning out the house and staging it well. I felt she went above and beyond in her understanding my logistical issues and stopped by on numerous occasions to take care of some major and minor issues which normally would not be handled by a listing agent. Bottom line, she took ownership of the listing and made sure it was well prepared and marketed. We listed the home a bit aggressively based on market conditions, i.e. not expecting any bidding wars due to increasing interest rates. The home sold relatively quickly for above our asking price. Despite living out of state, I have a good understanding of the market and where the house should have been priced. Julie saw the value in the house and we came to an agreement on the price which, as mentioned, was aggressive, but realistic and which my siblings and myself were in agreement. As of the sales date it sold for the highest amount for any home in FC prior. To conclude, Julie was very professional, pro active and aggressive in not only marketing the home, but getting it ready for market which it seems is where most of the heavy lifting is done. I recommend her to anyone looking to sell and/or buy a home.

Julie was very clear in explaining the selling process and gave us great suggestions. She was not pushy and gave us plenty of time when we need to make decisions.
