Additionally, Joy has been in and out of the construction field since the age of 18, giving her knowledge of homes from the ground up. She has also worked at an appraisal firm as an administrative assistant, as a leasing agent for a realty office and is currently partners with her husband in their construction business. Staying active in the surrounding communities is Joy's aspiration. She enjoys heading up certain activities and being a part of the worship team at her church and occasionally, leading worship during services at the extended-care facility in Jersey Shore, PA.
