Coming from out of state, having a local expert in the Wasatch real estate market was critical for us. We didn't click with the first realtor we talked to, so we found ourselves behind schedule. We recently worked with the Cottle Team on a home purchase. Diane came highly recommended so we decided to use them since we were relocating to the area from California and knew very little about the real estate market locally. We had a general sense of which areas we liked and not only did Diane find us the listings specific to our requests, she also researched past homes that didn't sell in those same neighborhoods so she could uncover additional off market opportunities. That solidified our trust in her diligence and thoroughness. In addition to her business/market savvy Diane has provided us numerous referrals and contacts for everything from Doctors to Insurance providers to various local "in the know" day to day conveniences all from her vast network and rooted beginnings here in Heber Valley and beyond. After a diligent search we narrowed our choices down to a very short list. On the top of that list was a home that we fell in love with but almost walked away from had it not been for the experience of her team. When we first toured the home we noticed a faint but concerning sewer smell throughout the house. It was new construction so the smell was the last thing we expected. Doug Cottle, who we found out has extensive knowledge as a builder told us that it was likely due to the house sitting and plumbing traps drying out over time. It was a simple fix that cost nothing. We've been back a half dozen times and the smell is completely gone. We worked with Josh Cottle on all else related to the actual purchase of the home. Josh was exceptionally helpful and really ensured that all "I's" were dotted and "T's" crossed. Too often in the past we've dealt with a good sell but not so good follow through but that is definitely not the case with the Cottle group. They have you covered from beginning to end. We are thrilled with our experience and can't say enough about how Diane, Doug and Josh have personally contributed to making it all happen. Not only have we found a solid team that I'm sure we will work with again in the future, we have also found new friends as we start the next chapter in our lives here in Heber Valley. We had a great experience with the Cottle Team. They described the whole process to us up front and were very detailed and honest. They gave us adequate notice whenever someone wanted to see our home and the ability to opt out if it wasnt convenient. They never pressured us in any way and allowed us to make all decisions relevant to the sale of our home. I cant think of any way it could have gone better. Also the pictures were amazing.
