From our first meeting, I knew Jasen was our "type of people". He was fun to work with, laid back, yet professional. He was attentive to our needs and wants as a buyer, and went so far as to help point out the pluses and minuses of the houses we viewed. If you're looking for an agent who cares, wants the best for you and not just their own commission, Jasen is your guy. I never felt pressured or coerced into feeling any way about all decisions made along the way. Jasen was organized and highly communicative throughout the process. Initially, we asked Jasen to help us secure a new build in early 2022. To get the listing, Jasen literally sat outside in front of the sales office of the builder from 6pm the night before the listing was released to the next morning at about 10am. It snowed that night. There were only two releases that day. We got one of the two because of Jasen's willingness and dedication to do what it takes in a tough market. As rates rose during mid 2022, and the price of our build didn't make sense anymore I contacted Jasen to get his thoughts on sticking with this property or walking away. I shared my feelings and he and I went through the pro's and con's together. Again at no point did I feel like he was pushing me one way or another. Just honest, friendly discussion and feedback. We decided to walk away from the build and look for another property. Immediately after we cut this initial property loose, Jasen got on looking for new properties, but not in a pushy way. We ended up finding another property a month or so later. It was my wife's "DREAM HOME". I asked Jasen to look into it. He called the listing agent only to get shelved as they sellers had apparently had 20+ showings over a couple day span and were expecting offers. Jasen played it cool as to not give the sellers and advantage, but also coached the listing agent on not assuming you have an offer until you do. On Monday following that weekend, the listing agent reached out and said offers came in, but the sellers didn't like them. Jasen, masterfully negotiated the situation and the timing to get up into the property all while keeping our interest confidential to the listing agent as to not tip our hat. Jasen gave us advice based on the situation and his experience that we should wait a day to put in an offer as our offer either way appeared better and again didn't push me to do one thing or the other. I told him where I wanted to offer, me presented my offer no questions asked. It took a couple days to get accepted, but we did and I felt very informed with the process to ensure we weren't missing out, but at the same time weren't giving anyone else an advantage. The listing agent presented the offer incorrectly to their buyers (missed our sellers concession) and called Jasen before he talked to his buyers to try to negotiate with me. Jasen quickly advised him to go back and represent the offer and provided some talking points to help ease any concern. The offer was now accepted in it full terms and we needed to move forward.Afterwards, every piece of the puzzle was carefully coordinated and communicated to me in a way I knew what was coming and the key aspects. This led to a very smooth 30 day closing.Long story short, if you want a guy in your corner who will be there for you, give you honest, fair and truthful advice, Jasen is your guy.
