My spouse and I were seeking our forever home and had a challenging and apparently rare set of characteristics for the home. The realtor, Francis Franqui, made the search easy. He pushed us relevant listings, alerted us to homes that might meet our needs, facilitated the visits, and helped us make wise decisions related to each property. As we had no timeline, a date we had to buy a house by, we could afford to wait for the right house. Francis recognized this, and as I noted earlier, made the whole search effort easy. And we did find the right forever home. As anyone who has ever bought a house knows, and first time buyers will learn, finding the perfect home is only the first step. Offers must be made, counter offers considered, and counter-counter offers made. Francis helped us shape our initial offer, carefully consider the seller's counters, and make wise counter counters. When both we and the seller were happy, the price was right and the deal was right. Further, Francis clearly went beyond the call of duty in getting some physical defects with the property remediated. He personally oversaw corrective actions to the water well, which had significant post-service call actions required by the home owner. Francis performed these actions, over the course of many days and hours. The Wasz Dukes team made the march to closing, if not stress free, less stressful. The Team kept us informed, pushed us the information we needed, and helped coordinate with the lender and title company. And if return business is any gauge of a company's quality, we intend to have the Wasz Dukes Team and Francis sell our current home. Will post about that experience after we sell.
