Be open minded, be prepared and be focused. Finding a home in today's market requires having a plan and working it to perfection. Not all agents are the same so, interview them until you found one who has a viable plan to find you a home. I know it's not easy but remember you are looking for a trusted advisor not a friend. Ask tough questions upfront to make your move as smooth as possible.

This market is dynamic! What was true last month isn't true this month and most likely won't be true next month either. Things are rapidly changing and different sellers will have vastly different needs. Make sure the REALTOR® you select has a valid marketing plan to sell your home or you could be in trouble... especially if you need to buy a home again. Make sure you read reviews and interview enough real estate agents to find one who has complete control of the situation and will help you to achieve your goals while helping to avoid common pitfalls along the way.

It would be easier for me to list who I haven't helped, than to list who I have over the last 21+ years. I love assisting both homebuyers and home sellers. I have sold New Homes for a Builder and Repo homes for the bank. I am very well rounded and have official designations for both Seniors and Military.

I just closed an escrow on a home virtually. As seniors relocating from out of state, they needed someone with extensive knowledge of both the High Desert and on how real estate was done locally. We did everything over computer, video and phone. It took about 2 months to find the right home but when we did ,they closed in just 14 days. It was both rewarding and exciting to help them buy a home when otherwise they would have had very limited and costly options.

Total luck! In the year 2000 I wanted to change from having a job, to having a career and I randomly decided real estate was the answer. This was before online schools so, I went to a community college and took the classes required. I was so scared I would fail the test I studied like a maniac. When I took the test I was the first done and I figured I either bombed it or aced it, but either way I was done. In those days they didn't tell me my score but I passed and from there I found my first agency down the street from my house. They said welcome, here's a desk and a phone... good luck. Fast forward a few years later when I took my real estate brokers test and I have been off to the races ever since.
