June 8, 2021 We started working with Jorge Castellon almost by accident about 6 months ago. He showed us a property to rent for which he was the listing agent. Rather than tour the condo and then run off, he spent extra time talking us through specific details about living in Downtown San Diego. Upon finding a property of interest in downtown San Diego, I was connected by Zillow to realtor Jorge Castellon. I didnt like that unit but Jorge identified another in the desired building within days (august 2020), my offer was accepted thenaEUR| I changed my mind at the end of the contingency period. OuchaEUR| Id found a (more expensive) unit in that building I liked better online. Texted Jorge very early morning explaining that I wanted to see that unit asap and probably recant on the initial offer. To his tribute, he didnt jump on the idea of a bigger commission; he emphasized the positive aspects of the current offer on the table while working to schedule visiting the other unit. I liked that he is always responsive to communication, no matter when. The offer I made there was accepted and we cancelled the other unit - I could see that Jorge didnt relish having to break the news to the other realtor which I respect (it meant to me that he has ethics). Both the seller and his realtor were super lame, delaying the cash closing that they initially wanted fast as they failed to produce necessarily documents. Jorge remained calm, determined, handling tasks the other realtor usually handles in an effort to get things done. Overall I was impressed by Jorge Castellon.
