Your home is more than just a place to live; it is where memories are made. Love, laughter, good times and bad, your home has seen it all. Whether you are buying your first home, looking to retire, finding the perfect home or selling your current home can be challenging. Having been through the same challenges of buying my first home before becoming a real estate agent; I had no idea what I needed to do ahead of time, nor what to look for in a house from having what you want, to problems the house might have. I did not understand how to calculate a 30-year mortgage to decide what I could afford. With the help of a real estate agent, I was able to understand and buy a house with confidence. Buying my first home drew me to my calling for real estate; to make the challenges of buying and selling a home easy for others, like mine did for me. I grew up in Grayslake, Illinois and was fortunate to have 2 loving parents and an older brother that always looked out for me. I found my future husband right after high school and became a hairstylist to pay for my bachelor's degree in Psychology. What was supposed to be 4 years of hair turned into 9 as I moved up in the hair industry to management. I still hadn't found my place in this world, so I decided to join Americorps St. Louis on the Emergency Response Team. I have always loved volunteering and giving back to the community is what reminds me of all the good in the world. After my service was finished, we bought our first house in Wadsworth, Illinois and rescued 2 adorable dogs. This is when my love for Real Estate began and continues.
