About Jordan Bennett

Jordan graduated with honors from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Business Administration. While at Pepperdine, Jordan lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, studying economics and Spanish, where he became fluent in Spanish. He went on to pursue and receive his CPA license while working as a public accountant at KPMG LLP, where he audited Fortune 500 Companies and developed a unique acumen of problem solving skills. Realizing that his true passion was working with individuals and helping families achieve their goals, Jordan obtained his real estate license in 2007 and joined Keller Williams Realty. Jordan is the number 1 agent in his office of over 400 licensed agents; his office is also the highest producing real estate office in Orange County for units sold. He is a NAR certified Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), an Accredit Buyer's Representative (ABR), a licensed CPA, and a certified real estate divorce specialist. Jordan has been married to his wife and business partner, Kayleigh for over 10 years and has a 9 year old son, Theo, and 6 year old daughter, Emma. TLDR : Leland was the realtor we were looking for.This is a long-overdue review we needed to write for Leland. We are a first home-buyer couple that was looking for a home at the beginning of Feb 2022. The timing could not be worse for us with the combination of increasing interest rates and the shortage of affordable homes along with the bidding frenzy. These circumstances along with the limited amount we saved for a down payment and closing cost made it an extra hurdle for us to find a realtor that was willing to help, let alone someone that could fully understand us. This is why it took us almost a month, interviewing with approx. 6, 7 different realtors before working with Leland. Some agents told us this would be an uphill battle that may take us months, others flat out told us to give up if we don't have more than 30% down payment (full disclosure: we didn't need that much, not even close). Some we realized they don't have any experience in the Orange County market, while the others just simply ghosted us to cater to clients with a bigger budget. (although they did email us back after we bought the house). We met Leland during one of the open houses we attended. He approached us in a friendly way, asking us if we needed help and what we expected to work with an agent. At that point, we were as honest with him as we could about how frustrated we were with our current agent, how we were never able to get ahold of him, and how we had to schedule to see all the houses ourselves and never got so much as a response /advice. Being the 1st generation immigrants, no matter how much research we had done, there were still a lot of unknowns to us. So Leland went above and beyond for us, setting up all the targeted search/house listings and giving us an overview of all the steps we need to go through, even before we decided to go with him. And we did what any right-minded person would do, we chose the person who actually cared.As soon as we decided on Leland, it took us 2 weeks to find the house and have our offer accepted. Understanding that we were not cash buyers or that we would be rejected for our limited budget, we were being as aggressive as we could. We would go to about 15 different open houses during the weekend and pick out a few that we would like to put offers in. The whole process was extremely fast since the competitions were through the roof. But Leland's energy and professionalism matched, if not exceed our expectations. Not only did he give us the comps and his advice on how much we should offer on each listing but also constantly followed up with 5-6 different seller agents at the same time (some proved to be very challenging to work with). He was with us at every step throughout the whole process and ready to answer any question we had (and we had a lot). We had multiple offers rejected, a few counter offers before finally landing on one. It was challenging and disheartening at some point. But Leland was very understanding as he provided his advice but ultimately let us decide on where our comfort zone was with every bidding war we got into.And he followed through with us till the very end day of closing escrow and beyond, reaching out to make sure we settled down in our new place and to answer or find the person that can answer our questions. This whole process has been very long yet very short to us and it definitely had its moment of frustration and misunderstandings. But we found someone willing to listen to us and proactive and professional to work with. I'm sure anyone would agree with us once they have talked with Leland.

My husband and I started looking at open houses in March this year without a pre-approval letter in hand. We were just trying to see what kind of houses were out there and were not very serious at that time. One day I ran into Leland at an open house. He approached me with a sincere smile and asked me if I needed an agent. He was very genuine and made me feel like he would be easy to work with. I provided our criteria on what kind of houses and price ranges we were interested in. Leland jumped right in and started sending us different listings. We saw the house we love on the second week of March. Leland referred us to the lender he works with and we got the pre-approval letter within one night. We had never purchased a home from a seller before. Leland helped the bidding process go by smoothly. He used his experience and guided us on how to make last minute changes that helped us win the bid. Without him we couldnt have gotten this home! It took us less than a month to find and close the house. Working with Leland was truly amazing. He was super knowledgeable and supportive through the entire process. He watched out and negotiated for us on certain things that needed to be changed for the house. He was patient and responded promptly to all my questions. His team were accessible whenever I needed extra details/resources during the process. I would highly recommend him and his team!
