Joni was absolutely excellent to work with. When we met with Joni we weren't exactly sure if we were going to sell my Dad's house. Please note that we met with several other realtors and were so impressed with Joni's market knowledge, evaluation of our property and where to place the selling price at that we made the decision to not only sell the house but to have Joni represent us. Joni was fantastic with follow-up, helped "walk" my elderly father through the process (I live out of town) and ensured the process moved along at what I think could be record pace. Within about 24 hours of the open house we had multiple offers with several offers being above asking price. Joni even came and picked up my Dad for the signing as there was a winter storm occurring. I'm sure while reading this review, since it is so positive, you might question the validity of the review. Trust me when I tell you the first time I met Joni was when she took a look at my Dad's house. This review is so positive because of the pure fact Joni was phenomenal throughout the entire process. I honestly cant praise Joni enough. I had to sell my house under urgent conditions, and from Day One, she was responsive, knowledgeable, organized, and empathetic. She understands her market and is whip smart, connected, concise, and hilarious (a sense of humor can only help in stressful circumstances). I'm a first-time seller, and Joni was literally unflappable, talking me through every step of the process, calming my jangled nerves, and handling details large and small with grace and good humor. I needed to rent my apartment and wasnt in the right frame of mine to deal with applications, interviews, scheduling appointments, legal documents, etc. and decided to call Joni. I had heard wonderful things about her professionalism, but what really brought me to Joni was her wonderful daughter (I was her teacher) and figured the apple does not fall to far from the tree. It was the best decision I could have made. From the get-go, Joni was there to advise, to suggest, to encourage, to listen, to pump me up and to be a friend. I truly could not have gone through the process without her. She advised me on what cosmetic repairs I should do to make apartment rent-worthy; she suggested the rental charge which would be competitive with like apartments; she listed the apartment with complimentary pictures, accentuating the positive; she encouraged me when prospects werent coming as fast as I had hoped and told me not to give up and it will happen. No question was too silly and there was no time when I couldnt communicate with her (even over her holiday vacation where Melissa seamlessly filled in). People in the area know of Jonis reputation as an excellent, dedicated realtor that helps clients find their dream home, but I would highly recommend Joni if you need to rent your property. All the work is done for you by Joni in a professional, dynamic and very thorough manner.
