My name is Joni Carlin and I am the trusted real estate advisor for my clients. I understand that selling and/or buying a home is complex and deeply personal. There is also a lot at stake financially and personally. This perspective on the process and the responsibility felt toward my clients drives me to truly be an expert at the job. I understand all of the variables involved in a real estate transaction so I make sure my clients feel supported and know that they have a trusted advisor by their side. As a REALTOR(R), I recognize and value greatly the trust my clients place in me and I strive every day to exceed their expectations. Prior to real estate I worked in the automotive dealership business with many hats expanding from sales to the accounting office manager as well as customer and employee relations and the facilitator of a motivational team. I guess you could say I have a natural knack for communication, clear expectations and customer service which serves me as well as my every client greatly with every real estate connection I encounter. I am a resident of New Iberia but I am originally from Bayou Sorrel, La. Yep, Swamp People country. Matter of fact, when Mom has an alligator hanging around a little to often she gets Willie to come get it. I have 3 sons, Blake, Ryan and Austin and 5 grandchildren. My husband Corky and I love the great outdoors. The boat, fishing, camping, the woods, the water are things I truly cannot live without. To me a home is where you are safe and protected, where you retreat to rest and be strengthened when the day has done its best or its worst. It's the place to gather for home cooked meals and memories to be made. The place where you feel accepted by the 4 walls themselves.
