We were looking for a retirement home in Lincoln City or Newport. We met Jon when trying to contact an agent at his office. Boy did we luck out, Jon helped us find a beautiful home close to the beach in a perfect location. The home was a short sale which we had never experienced and Jon helped us through all the ups and downs. We are now in our home and happily retired. Thank you Jon! Our first meeting at the house went very well, Jon in personable and friendly. We signed the contract and Jon listed the property. The listing came out and listed everything negative about the house or what Mr. Lynch himself saw as short comings ( no fire place, the lot in front which may be built on someday effecting the view, the fact that the beach was over a third of a mile away.) We immediately got a hold of him, he said it should have never been like that and changed the listing. From there Jons total lack of input was staggering, no suggestions, no nothing. We would send him an email asking how thing were going and get no response, i would finally call him and he would tell me that today was his day off,he was watching a show, he was going on vacation............ and he would call me back in a few days. Then when he did call back, it was a barely polite what do you want type of call. When we did receive an offer he would just send over a docusign, we would sign it, then not receive any communication till again we would call and he was again too busy to talk-- ill call you later. This went on through two offers and if it wasnt for the contract we signed agreeing to list with him for way to long, we would have fired him and moved on to someone more responsive. If you would like someone with an opinion on what you can do to sell your house quicker, Jon is not the realtor for you. He would be great for someone who doesnt want any feedback i was going to say he could at least fill out the paperwork, but at our closing we had to get the buyers agent to send us the last document so we could close in time. Jon ended up sending something the next day not knowing that we had already filled out the paperwork and closed the night before.
