Let me start by saying that John Olson is absolutely amazing. He was referred to me by another agent and she wasn?t lying when she said he was ?excellent.? We began our house journey in April 2017. Me and my boyfriend just found out we were expecting a baby in November and we really needed to find a house in a specific location to be close to my family to have help with our new bundle of joy. Let?s say, I was determined to have a house before the baby was born. John was very understanding, knowledgeable, always available, and helped us every step of the way. We put offers on a few houses that didn?t go through. We began to get very discouraged because the prices on homes continued to go up which could cause us to be out of the area we wanted to be in but John remained positive and said the right things to keep our spirits up. Then my sister seen a for sale sign on a house down her street. I gave John a call and gave him the realtors contact information and John began to work his magic by building a relationship with the seller?s realtor and was able to get us into see the house and knowledge of the price before the house was listed. We put in our offer... and the waiting game began. Finally, the waiting was over and John gave us a call and let us know we didn?t get the house because the realtor accepted another offer :( . We felt defeated until we got a call back from John with him letting us know he called the agent back and asked them to reconsider with some more negotiating we had our offer accepted instead. We moved into our house in June 2017, well before the baby?s due date and we couldn?t be happier with the location because it is literally walking distance to my sister?s house making it extremely convenient with the baby. John has been in this business for years and his skills really show. He?s great at building relationships, negotiating, and has such a warm personality. I would recommend him to anyone planning to buy and sell their home. We plan to contact John IF we decide to ever sell and buy another home he was so great to work with.
