John coming into our lives was an accident. We saw a house for sale near our apartment and requested to see it via Zillow. John ended up being agent and the reason we looked at other houses, eventually putting an offer in on our dream home. We got the keys on Friday.John walked us through every step of being first time home buyers with patience and expertise, explaining things that our lenders (who shall not be named) neglected to mention. He kept every plate spinning while we stumbled through the process and even helped urge our lenders towards actually meeting our deadlines.Throughout the entire process, it felt as if John only had our interests in mind, even urging us NOT to put offers in on homes that he thought were not worth our time or money. He's very honest, and he took time to tell me about the sales price, the market, the offer, etc. During the sale, he hosted several tours of the unit. He also helped me negotiate a better price on repairs by hiring a window inspector to better assess the window damages and save money (he even payed me for the window repair cash allowance I had to pay the buyers).He could have explained a few parts of the process a little better. For example, apparently we didn't realize until it was too late that any curtains on the windows count as part of the unit, so we had to leave good curtains behind. There also was very little warning for me to sign the closing documents, have them notarized and sent back in a few hours using priority shipping.
