To my great fortune, I found John and Diane Cirignani through the real estate web platform, Upnest. I was selling my family home in California, because my mom passed away. I was stuck in Germany during the pandemic, therefore, being able to select a real estate agent while 10,000 miles away, was a source of angst for me. But John and Diane made it easy. They coached me through what I had to do to prep the house for sale even 3 months before I got to California.I was particularly impressed that they would go to open houses within a few block's of my family home to really get a feel for the 'condition' of the homes being sold and at what price -- all in the effort to properly price my house for sale. They staged the house beautifully, and they recommended small repairs that made a huge difference in getting an excellent price, which was sold above list price.Once the house was sold, that's where John and Diane really shined. We sold the house to a couple who were getting a VA loan, which has a much higher underwriting standard than other loans. Through every hiccup and hurdle, John and Diane got in front of every challenge. What I mean by this is, if there was a problem, I didn't even know about it until they already found a solution to the problem. This probably saved me several sleepless nights!!! In the end, escrow closed and there were no big surprises, no drama, only a very happy ending. We, the sellers got an above-asking price for the house and the buyers got to buy their dream home.
