Joe Baumann was an absolute pleasure to work with. I can safely say, I would not have my home without him. He negotiated an off market sale that met the particular needs of both buyer and seller. He made the process tolerable (to someone like me who did not enjoy looking for a home.) I dont think I would have a home without Joe. Here is my story: I was a motivated buyer willing to move quickly but needed a turn-key home but could not find any that worked for me. I may have gone to every open house between Monmouth Beach and Bradley Beach over an 18 month period. I was beginning to lose hope. At one such open house which Joe was representing, I came a point of sharing my desiderata with him as I did with most other brokers. Months later, when the seller of a house meeting my exact needs was looking to sell her home, Joe called me. He remembered what I was looking for and offered me the off market home. I had to move my mother into an Assisted Living facility and sell her home to pay for the facility. Maximizing the sale price was really important. I was very lucky to be referred to Joe Baumann by a former neighbor who had used him with great success. I can't speak highly enough about Joe. He is incredibly knowledgeable, inspired trust and confidence, and made you feel comfortable. Joe gave me guidance on several minor improvements to make to the house to increase its sales value, pointing out things I would not have thought of, but would be important to a home buyer. I had already met with several other realtors who all recommended a selling price around $425,000. Joe told me I should list the house for $499,000 and it would sell for more. Joe was right, he sold the house for $520,000 within a week. Had I chosen someone other than Joe, I don't believe we would have received as much for the house. I highly recommend Joe and cant thank him enough. It was a pleasure working with him.
