Many realtors' reviews are glowing because of their help with buying the thing. This review is glowing because Joe helped us NOT buy the thing. Yes, through the whole process Joe was attentive, thoughtful, communicated well, and was clearly attuned to our best interests. However, when push came to shove, we weren't feeling right. And Joe supported us by encouraging us to listen to the voice that was telling us it wasn't a good fit. Joe honored our intuition and prioritized our happiness and was every bit as available as when we thought we might buy the thing. I can't recommend him enough. A gem.

Where do I find the water shut off for outside?

Hello Jahon, If you look on the interior of the home where the pipe leads to the outdoor faucet you should see a valve for on/off. If it is not directly in view, follow the pipes toward the main line until valve is found.

What neighborhood factors should I consider when buying?

what is the commission percentage?

Commissions are always negotiable. Some brokerage groups also offer suites of services based on commission percent. I am with Mason on you get what you pay for. A good agent will provide value that is worth every penny of his/her commission.

Are solar panels worth the investment?

Hi Mark! I have a Tesla system in my home (panels + powerwall) and have been very happy with the financial and comfort impact of the system. A good system will definitely add value, but be careful with any lease programs.

Everything is negotiable! It sounds like you are under agreement already, so any concessions you make should provide equal value back to you as the seller.

Can I divide my property and sell only part of it?

Hi Carl! Unsure of your towns restrictions, but you should be able to split your land however you like. The issue may be that it may not be buildable with frontage and other bi-laws. A local realtor should be able to point you in the right direction!

Should I get rid of my popcorn ceiling before selling?

It may not add actual worth to your home, but removing them will 100% make it a more appealing property to potential buyers. While leaving them will not cost you anything, replacing will make your home more desirable for a greater number of potential buyers! I hope this helped Chris!

Do I need to disclose if there was a death in the home?

If you are in Georgia and it was a "peaceful" death you do not need to disclose. Some states require, but not Georgia.

Can I take light fixtures when moving out?

You will need to talk to your buyers and see if you can make arrangements to take fixtures. These are considered Real Property and are traditionally left in the home. You will need the buyer to sign off on you taking them.

You can: find a real estate agent specializing in international clients, research the market thoroughly, secure financing from a lender with foreign national mortgage programs, provide substantial documentation proving your income and assets, and expect to potentially pay a larger down payment due to your non-resident status; importantly, remember that anyone, regardless of citizenship, can legally purchase property in the United States, but obtaining a mortgage might be more challenging as a non-resident

It sure can! You see this a lot in urban areas. While not ideal, it can maximize the bedrooms available, normally in rental units.
