ZillowVERIFIEDIt is such a pleasure to write a review for Joanne. My parents needed to sell their home to move into an independent living facility. I live in another state and am unable to travel much so it was difficult to not be able to help them during this critical transition in their lives. Enter Joanne! Joanne helped them sell their home in less than a week, made them feel at ease throughout the process, and instilled a level of trust in us all that was borne out in all her actions. Little did we all know that this transition would come at a critical time for the entire nation, indeed world, during the coronavirus crisis. My parents made a herculean effort to downsize their entire life and my husband and I were to travel to Yakima to help them finalize the last details. When we could not go, and my parents needed to stay in place, Joanne stepped in to take over the many tasks that our family could not fill. She did so with grace, kindness, and seamless efficiency. We are all forever grateful for Joanne and her willingness to do whatever it took to get the house closed and finalized (earlier than hoped!). We could not have done this without her. Do not hesitate to work with Joanne, it is a decision that you will not regret.
ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne was a positive and helpful guide through the process of selling our home. Her knowledge of the area and its assets, her ability to point out and focus on the strongest selling features, and her pro-active marketing--including getting our house on the cover of the local real estate magazine--all made us grateful to have her working with us. We had already moved when the house was on the market, so when minor repairs were identified through an inspection, she oversaw that work; she also arranged for ongoing lawn care so that the house looked its best. We recommend Joanne for her professionalism and attentiveness.
ZillowVERIFIEDI would highly recommend Joanne Melton to anyone as their realtor. She was very knowledgeable about what to price our house for and how to get the house ready for sale. She was available anytime we called with questions on anything. When the house went on the market she handled it all. We didn't have to worry about doing anything and when it sold she handled it all for us. She is very professional and very friendly. We loved having her for our realtor. Sincerely Mike and Jenny.
ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Joanne was a very pleasant and positive experience. She is capable, hard working and has a friendly personality that makes her a complete joy to work with.We highly recommend Joanne to anyone interested in having the best person for the job of getting their real estate sold in a timely manor and being willing to do what it takes to take care of the many details it involves.
ZillowVERIFIEDJoann was extremely easy to work with. She did her homework and provided excellent advise on presenting and pricing our home to sell. We had a full price offer in eight days. She also helped us with all the closing details. The house sold before there was time to even hold an open house.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe would highly recommend Joanne Melton to guide you in the home buying or selling process. She was very professional, kept us super informed and always answered our phone calls, texts and e-mails in record time. I would definitely recommend you have her in your corner when going through such a tedious but joyful journey as a home purchase can be!! Thank you again Joanne.....Sincerely,Randy and Debbie Winsor
ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne is a great real estate agent. She was sweet, considerate, knowledgeable about real estate, and was dedicated to making sure the process went as smoothly as possible.
ZillowVERIFIEDWonderful experience selling my home, with Joanne guiding me from the beginning of the listing to the date of closing. No pressure, no gimmicks, just an honest real estate agent. I would highly recommend her to anyone of even thinking of selling their home.
ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne expertly guided us through purchasing a new home and selling our old home. We were very happy with the process throughout. She is a wonderful negotiator, always professional and right there when we needed her.
ZillowVERIFIEDMy wide and I had the pleasure of Joanne being our realtor. She is knowledgeable, realistic, reliable/flexible and all around great. She has tons of experience in the area that pointed us to the house of our dreams. She met with us afterhours to accomodate our work schedule. Her experience with utilizing Va home loans helped us secure a great inspector - between the two, our house was able to meet all of the requirements for the VA appraiser to say yes the first go around. She was able to negotiate an extension, changes that would need to be made on the property and setup a rental agreement that allowed the sellers to have a roof over their head as they finished their home buying process. I would reccomend to anyone seeking a highly competent and experience realtor.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe have used Joanne several times for both buying and selling. She is well versed in all aspects of the process. We have very specific needs/wants that she pays attention to and doesn't waste our time on properties that are not a fit. She goes the extra mile for you, and was able to connect us with another top notch agent in a different part of the state when we needed to sell there.
ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne Melton was professional and responsive in all our interactions from selling our home to buying a new one. No matter what time I texted or called she was available and made time for all our questions. She is knowledgeable about working with homes sold by buyers as well as other real estate agencies. After selling our home she immediately helped us looked for a new one, taking in to account all our preferences and price range. We ended up purchasing a brand new home because she went on-site to talk to the builder! We are so pleased with her work and will be recommending her to our friends and family.
ZillowVERIFIEDI have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Joanne! She was always on time to appointments with us, she was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Joanne is someone we stay in touch with and when the time is right, will use for our real estate needs again. I have absolutely no problem recommending Joanne to all friends and relatives in need of a trustworthy, honest and responsible Real Estate Professional.
ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I listed our house with Joanne in the fall of 2012. On our RV trip to California and Arizona early 2013, we decided to setup new home in Phoenix Valley. Joanne did a yearly lease and subsequent sell papers with a new buyer on the Yakima residence. She kept in constant contact with both the buyer and us. Joanne went out of her way to ensure the business deal was fully compliant with the contracts. When the buyer reneged on the contract, she made sure we collected the earnest money and that the house was in good shape. She then re-listed and helped the shippers of our furniture (we had made prior arrangements to sell them to the buyer) to enter and load it for shipment to Arizona. Joanne was truly an outstanding realtor who is honest, very helpful and truly has integrity to look out for your best interests.
ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne sold our home in a reasonable time frame. Her knowledge of the local real estate market and buyer sentiment help expedited the home selling process. We would use Joanne again in a heart beat. Thank you Joanne!

ZillowVERIFIEDJoanne Melton is a friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive agent. She listens to her clients and strives to provide the best service. Her communication with us was top notch and she was always prompt when responding to our inquires. Joanne was also incredibly flexible and giving of her time. Given both my husband and I work full time, she was able to meet and show us houses in the evenings and on the weekends. She helped us to navigate the negotiation process and provided us with sound advice. Ultimately, she assisted us in the purchase our dream home, and for that, I am forever grateful!
