1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Connect with a realtor who will be there for you every step of the way. Find someone who will do the following: email you current listings, respond quickly and thoroughly, have connections with local lenders who can advise and guide you. Review the process with a couple of realtors and work with the person you feel most comfortable with. Good luck!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Declutter. Organize. Be sure your home will look great online, as the internet is where buyers will shop. Make sure your realtor will include professional photography as part of their offering. It is something I do for every listing I get, no matter the price point. Be accommodating to having viewings. Most importantly, find a real estate professional you can trust and feel confident in!
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with first time home buyers, seasoned investors, retirees, vacation home buyers, and many more. Short term rental investors are also some of my common clients.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Not every transaction is easy. I recently sold a home for a wonderful woman who has had some recent financial struggles. I'm very happy to say we were able to sell her home relatively quickly (with a few hurdles we were able to overcome) and she was able to walk away debt free into her next step in life. Those situations are especially rewarding.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
After graduating college, I worked in restaurant management. It was demanding work and very time consuming. I liked the work but not the long hours and working until the wee hours of the night. I decided I needed a change and took my real estate licensing courses. I haven't looked back.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I also love to read and research and I am always continuing to learn new things everyday.
