Where do we begin? Jessica Hooten was our Real Estate Agent through our home buying process. Jessica takes "we're going to ride it till the wheels fall off" on a whole other level. As any person in today's world, we scrolled through Zillow, found a house we wanted to tour and then Jessica was recommended to us. From our first conversation, Jessica put our needs/wants at her top priority. When she found out we were coming from SoCo, she made sure we got our times' worth in viewings. Upon meeting Jessica at our first home tour, she presented us with a firm handshake. From that handshake, we knew we had a go-getter and we were ready to play ball! Jessica responded to every phone call and text in a timely manner, and was very personable. Working with a stranger on this big of a purchase can be scary, but Jessica treated us as family. She informed us of every pro and con, gave us the best recommendations for inspection/appraisal, and made the meaning above and beyond look mediocre to the experience she provided. Every step, hiccup, concern, question, ground-breaking moment, up, down, and at times, a little sideways, Jessica was there! She was there to provide a creative way to keep us going! We may have had a few blown tires, but Jessica was there to patch those suckers up. Jessica - We are forever grateful for what you've done for us. Thank you for pushing us, and not throwing in the towel when times got tough. More people like you are needed in this world we live in today. Ms. Hooten worked remarkably well with us. Most impressive was her habit of an immediate response to every question and always she provided an instantaneous explanation when necessary for each detail. Ms. Hooten has a superior work ethic and has a uniques sense, in our instance, of assuring both seller and buyer of a fair and reasonable profit for the seller and a fair buying price for the buyer. Already, I had dumped three local agents because each did not represent our interests. One guy, in fact, totally was interested in his profit, which proved to be a detriment to our plans; we dumped him immediately. Therefore, I had accepted the fact that Lake County just was below par - proved through my experience with three Lake County agents. Then I was introduced to Ms. Hooten. You have heard the cliche about cream rising to the top, which means that talent will win every time. Ms. Hooten is talented, knowledgeable, prompt, and fair - and when a few glitches emerged, Ms. Hooten smooth out the wrinkle - her talent keeping her at the top. Significantly, a few times Ms. Hooten worked while also maintaining parental oversight for her children - a very endearing experience for us all - even more during this virus mess. I enjoyed seeing her work and seeing her carry out the combined tasks of work and home - a unique work environment and home environment whose responsibility still lies mostly with the working women of our society. Ms. Hooten achieved success to the end. I misinterpreted the action on a home product. Without skipping a beat, the project was managed by Ms. Hooten. Thank you Ms. Hooten. As you can tell by now, I cannot say enough about the quality work as a real estate agent and as a Mom, well done, Ms. Hooten. I foresee Ms. Hooten as the top agent of Lake County and most likely a leader among real estate leaders. Consider yourself fortunate when Ms. Hooten is your real estate agent.
