About Jess McLaughlin

With a background in masonry and construction for 18 years, Jess brings a wealth of local knowledge and hands-on expertise to real estate. Growing up in Shortpump and relocating to Goochland gave him a deep appreciation and understanding of the area. Jess graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Communications, enhancing his understanding of the area's unique characteristics. His career began in designing septic fields and wells for new constructions before transitioning into kitchen and interior renovations. This experience has proven invaluable in helping clients navigate the real estate market, whether buying or selling. In 2023, he earned his Broker's license, driven by a passion for team building and helping clients find their next home or sell their property. His extensive construction background allows him to offer insights and guidance that set him apart from the rest. Jess is married to his wife, Breanna, and they have three kids. Jess and his family love the outdoors, the beach, and exploring nature together. On the side, he enjoys fishing with the good-ol' boys and cooking, enjoying quality time spent together.

Jess was amazing from start to finish. We started our home buying process about 2 years ago and he has been incredibly patient, kind and helpful. We changed our minds and the locations we were looking at at least 10 times and every time Jess went the extra mile to make sure we were looking in the right areas. We had no issues letting Jess take charge of the negotiation of final costs and he saved us quite a few extra dollars. When we sell/buy our next home Jess will be the first call we make!
