Jess Barron was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia and is a third generation realtor. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a BSBA in Finance. He also holds a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina. Jess has been a licensed realtor since age 20. At age 23, he earned his broker's license from Barney Fletcher Real Estate School in Atlanta. Jess stays in touch with the latest real estate news and recent trends through continuing education courses. He is a Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS). He is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR), Georgia Multiple Listing Service and Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors (2018 President). Jess is a Life Member of the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club (Youngest Life Member). Jess attends Southside Church and First Baptist Church of Newnan. In 2015, Jess won the Humanitarian of the Year Award for the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors. Jess also won the 2014 Best of Trulia Top Agent Award (Given to the Top 1% of all agents on Trulia). Jess was extremely helpful assisting my family with the selling of our Mother's house. This was especially challenging as I live oversees and both of my brothers live far away from Georgia in the US. Jess guided us through the process with his knowledge of the local market and network of contacts. The house needed preparation work done to it and Jess was able to recommend local people to help us with getting the property ready for sale. Jess was incredibly helpful in the sale of my mothers home. I live out of state and Jess was very diligent in communicating with my elderly mother so she understand the process and what was happening. He was also instrumental in helping me take care of some last minute damage problems in the house. He helped us price the house properly and the selling price exceeded out expectations SIGNIFICANTLY. Really I could not have done the sale without him! The staff at Lindsey was also great to work with.
