What can I say... My husband and I were not the easiest of clients-- we knew exactly what we wanted but it was verrrrry specific, which lead to a very long searching process. Heather stuck with us from Day 1 to Year 2, when we finally managed to get an offer accepted! Other agents pushed us to compromise, but Heather understood our priorities, and never urged us to make a rash decision or offer too much just to make a deal. We were also using a VA loan, which can complicate things; Heather had plenty of experience in dealing with those loans and how we could best play our hand in a very competitive market. We were especially grateful for her stable of fabulous inspectors-- we dealt with many of them and they were fair, kind, and generous. Buying a house was really, really hard, but Heather did incredible work to ease the process for us. We knew that no matter what happened, we'd have Heather in our corner. She went so far above and beyond what we would have expected to make sure our first home buying experience was smooth. She taught us everything, we went into this knowing nothing about buying a house and she was our advocate through almost 8 months of searching and negotiations. Heather always ensured we didn't take on too much risk, she became such a trusted advisor while we dealt with boundary disputes, titling issues, structural issues and everything in between. Even during this crazy market we got our home below appraisal, with an amazing interest rate, with all contingencies intact, and without a crazy cash offer or down payment. I can truly say she knows EVERYTHING about the industry and area and fought tooth and nail for us. We went with her mortgage broker recommendation who gave us the lowest rate even after we checked around to compare with others. We also went with her attorney recommendation who literally caught a tiiiiiny detail in some old legal documents that actually marked our house with one less bedroom. If she hadn't caught that it would have had extremely damaging repercussions in terms of the value of the house. Overall, we cannot say enough about Heather. I feel like we've been to battle and back and we're just so incredibly grateful for her. She is an amazing professional and woman and we plan to stay in touch forever now!
