He was always available and went the extra mile when I ran into difficulty with my lender, who didnt have my paperwork completed in time to close. My suggestion would be to listen to your realtor when they suggest to use a LOCAL lender. All of my delays in closing could have been avoided if I would have used someone local. Jay was there ever step of the way to assist me with dealing with lender delays and to assist my on even getting homeowners insurance coverage on the day of close. Jay and his team encouraged me all they way from finding my dream home to close. It was not and easy road, even when I thought the whole deal was going to fall through because of my lender delays. So trust your realtor when they suggest you use someone local in any aspects of your real estate transactions. I don't plan on ever having to find another property again, but would definitely recommend Jay and his team to anyone. They really can sell the dream. Thanks again so much Jay and to all of your team, I wouldn't have my new home without them.

ZillowVERIFIEDToo aggressive for our liking. Moved on from Jay and went to another Realtor and purchased our dream home. Returning phone calls was very hard for him. His attitude was "piss poor" and although he was there to represent us, he really wasn't. BUYER BEWARE!

After contacting Jay, he met us at our property, did an assessment, took pictures and made the entire process easy for us. The important thing was he was very knowledgeable of the PA area and was both professional and personable. He also made us feel optimistic about selling our property. We never expected it to settle so soon after listing. After listing the property, he kept us informed along the way. He was always available to answer any questions we had. Since we were out of state this was important to us. When it came time to sign the contract, he explained the entire settlement process. If you need a realtor, I would highly recommend Jay Schmitt.
