I worked with another realtor who led me to Jason for the sale of some land. My husband and I made an offer on the land with $3000 in earnest money that we paid to Jason. We were told by our realtor that there were many contingencies in place in our agreement in case the house came back over our approved amount. The house came in way over budget and Jason refused to give us back any of the earnest money. We had the land for 2 weeks. He claimed he missed out on advertising on the land. I also told our builder about the neighborhood and he in return brought several clients to the neighborhood that are now building there. But he refused to give us back any of our money and told us to build a smaller house on the land. We didn't need to build such a big house. It's sad to see that he couldn't be an honest person and return the money or a portion of it. We ultimately were forced to sign over all of the earnest money to him.
