What impressed me was her ability to communicate when transactions were being delayed or there were hiccups with offers. Most realtors excel in communicating only the good news. ZillowVERIFIEDJanet Kane is not a good choice as a buyers agent. She apparently is only interested in an easy commission.She did no property searches for me (I did them), she never looked at properties for me (although I live out of state), she did no negtations for me on a property I had an interest in.When I made an offer but the loan wasnt approved, she made no effort to follow through in the return of my earnest money.Her response was to go through small claims court, even though there are pages and pages of talk to use arbitration to settle disagreements, she did not want provide any means of follow through with that. She said the property couldnt be sold unless my earnest money was returned. Well, the house sold, she wasnt even aware of it and I have not received my earnest money 6 months later.The only effort Janet Kane put forward for me as a buyer, was to sign her name on the necessary documents to get her to that easy commission.
