1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make sure you fully understand the entire process from start to finish. Get a Realtor with the most experience and longevity you can find.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Make sure your agent is truly an expert in your market place. Make sure they have all the tech savvy needed to fully expose your home on the internet. Make sure they have great knowledge of the agreement of sale and have excellent negotiation skills.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have sold homes to fist time buyers, Moved several of my past clients several times as well as their friend and family referrals that they have trusted me with. I have sold to Doctors, Lawyers, Surgeons, Engineers and just about every walk of life. No sale is too small. Everyone needs a place to live and deserves the best treat ment I can provide no matter what the price point.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently helped several older retired veterans downsize. I like to thank them for their service to the country and hear their stories about their active duty service. Not many people care enough to listen. I have also helped multiple sellers sell their life long homes to move to retirement communities. This is a very hard transition and you must be very understanding and empathetic.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I purchased my first home when I was just 19 years old. It was a Tri plex apartment building. I really enjoyed the Broker that helped me and I was thrilled with the experience from start to finish. When I had closing I asked my Broker how I could get in the business. At that time you needed a sponsor. He told me he would be happy to bring me aboard but that I should not quit my full time job as it was a hard transition to full time commission sales. This was a wise suggestion as I passed the tests very easily but it took me a year to get my feet under me. By the end of my first year I was selling more part time then the full time agents in my office. I quit my other job and the rest is history. I have enjoyed 48 years of full time real estate sales and annually rank in the top 1% of sales of all agents.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I'm a certified relocation specialist. Have moved people all around the nation nd world. I also do property management and have great skills in residential property management.
