ZillowVERIFIEDIf you do not take the time to read my review believe the Rating I gave Jim and hire him, you will definitely sell your home. We had a unique property in Oak Harbor, two and a quarter acres with two homes on it. Over a five-year period, we had three different Realtors with no success. I knew right from the beginning when I met Jim, picked his brain a bit, that he knew his facts and definitely had done his research on our property. The listing was professional, accurate and had beautiful pictures, even a video, that represented our property to the fullest. Prior realtors took a few stills and that was it. We also had a very big challenge of Renters in both homes. He was a master at working with them and won them over from the start making it easier for everybody involved, including the buyers. I highly recommend Jim Martin; I only wish he lived closer to Oregon so he could handle our next sale and purchase.

He sold the home next door to us and he watched our progress, he appreciated the amount of work we put into it. We ended up leaving town once we were live on the market and had full confidence leaving the home in Jims hands. He not only followed up with us about the details of every showing, he also followed up with realtors and we received multiple offers. When we set an offer deadline, Jim was confident and he was able to negotiate the best offer. He also very kindly went out of his way to do things for the house while we were gone. For example Jim is the kind of realtor who will drive to the house before the showings and turn on the lights and heater, he will close up after the day is done and bring in the trash cans, he will meet every contractor or photographer and make sure theyre doing what theyre supposed to be doing. Jim even sent us our old mail getting delivered to the house, he is a trustworthy guy and we were very happy with his services. If you are looking for someone who is going to tell it like it is, be there for every inspection, and have his hand on the pulse of the market in Oak Harbor, then you will know you are going to get your moneys worth, and Jim is your guy.

Jim was a great listener and sympathized with our concerns. He advocated for us with the sellers agent . When it looked like things might not work out, he suggested good alternatives and seemed to really want what was best for us. Jim knew some local service providers and he connected us with professionals who helped us determine feasibility. He also recommended a great builder. We had a smooth transaction with minimal anxiety--all in all a great experience.
