About James Clark
James was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Central Florida in 1980. He began in the business of real estate as an investor buying and selling everything from low income properties to luxury homes. James then made the decision to transition from Investor to Agent as he enjoyed working with people to achieve their goal of home ownership. James has an extensive background in residential real estate working with buyers and sellers and is an expert in short sales, foreclosures, and investment properties. One of his strongest assets is his ability to negotiate the hardest deals while authoring contracts that cover every detail and all while offering the greatest level of protection to clients. James is also a graphic designer, web designer, photographer, and videographer who uses these skills to help market and sell all of CENTURY 21 Alton Clark listings. As a result of having these skills, James is able to provide services to all sellers that would otherwise only receive them if they were selling a multi-million dollar home. James graduated from the University of Central Florida with both a Bachelors & Masters Degree Suma Cum Laude. He's an avid sportsman who enjoys baseball, golf, hunting, and fishing. He's the proud father of two beautiful children and is married to the love of his life who just so happens to be his real estate partner, Christine Clark.

1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
In today's market, all buyers should be well prepared and well informed before starting the home buying process. It's crucial to sit down with a professional and learn every step of the process from start to finish before starting to look for homes. Another crucial step is meeting with a trusted mortgage professional to verify exactly what one can qualify for and to truly get an understanding as to one's budget. Knowledge and advanced preparation are what's required to win as a buyer in today's market.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
For anyone who's considering selling their home, careful consideration needs to be given to the experience and marketing capabilities of an agent. In today's market with 95% of home buyers searching for homes on the internet, sellers need a multi-media marketing specialist, which is exactly who we are. Once an agent is chosen that's a true marketing professional, trust in the direction provided to sellers is crucial. For example, we carefully prepare our listings from the outside curb appeal to the inside presentation. We have access to amazing 1st class professionals in this regard and every client that has trusted our suggestions with regards to preparing their homes has sold in days and for top dollar.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
We've been blessed over the many years to work with residential clients, luxury clients, vacation home clients, commercial, and investor clients.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We recently were blessed to help a past client sell their mothers home as she was placed into assisted living. The clients were very emotional due to their mothers deteriorating health and as a result we made sure to cover every detail to help ensure a smooth transaction. We truly facilitated or aided with everything from the estate sale of their mothers property to the sale of the home and even the placement of their mother into a assisted living facility. We were blessed to visit with the clients one week after the deal and to see our client cry uncontrollably at how grateful she was for what we did to help her reminded us of how important our job is to the clients we serve. It was a truly humbling moment that we will remember for a long time to come.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Our family started in real estate 25+ years ago as investors buying and selling everything regular residential real estate to luxury homes. Over years, we've been blessed to own alot of real estate while at the same time helping serve hundreds of clients buy and sell their homes in both a traditional sense and from an investment perspective.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
In an effort to help my clients stand out, more than a decade ago I studied the art of multi-media. I first became a professional real estate photographer and videographer taking a variety of courses and studying under master photographer and videographers in the real estate industry. I then received extensive training and certification in the realm of web and graphic design. Again, I studied under industry professionals who help me to learn the arts in a way that was practical for real estate use. As it pertains to real estate, over the years I've taken extensive training in contract negotiations, contract writing, luxury home sales, investment sales, and commercial real estate. My education over the past 20 years has been on of the things that has aided me the most when serving my clients.
