It is often all too easy to forget the values in life; a return to simpler things in a time when "simpler things" have been overlooked. Hard work, smiling, genuinely caring about one another, focusing on "quality" and not "quantity"; in my opinion, those are the characteristics that really make anything worthwhile. I have made those "simpler things" my foundation and my reward. The pursuit of happiness can compel anyone to pursue their dream. When I graduated with my Business Management Degree in 1998, I believed that I had arrived at that point. Although a native New Orleanian of Hispanic descent, I had decided to call Miami, FL my new home. Something was missing for me; I felt driven to fill a void by a passion to help more, to seek out an individual's need and find the resolution. In 2002, I obtained my real estate license and felt that I was on the right road, but I wasn't sure as to where that road was leading me. Then, I realized where...that road was pointing me home to New Orleans again, where I saw a need to renew, to rebuild, to reinvest, and to revitalize. I was motivated by that need and I felt the passion that I had felt once before when I was pursuing my dream, my true dream, of working with what I care about. I came home to the people, community, and charisma that draws so many people back to New Orleans. My ability to speak Spanish allowed me and still affords me the opportunity to assist people beyond the standard. My passion and my drive motivate me beyond the norm and enable me to treat people with the commitment that they deserve. The accomplishment of helping to rebuild New Orleans person by person, home by home, is an amazing feeling and I am proud to be a part of it. It is true that in today's real estate market, there simply is no substitute for a good REALTOR(R). I believe that and support it with my constant education of the dynamic market that we live in. I continuously attend training seminars, conventions and classes. I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS(R), the Louisiana Association of REALTORS(R) and the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS(R) ,in which I received a Sales Recognition Silver Award in 2008. I work with a multitude of builders, contractors, lenders, and banking institutions throughout the area, always remembering to return every transaction with a smile and gratitude. At the end of the day, it is always a return to the simpler things; treat others as you want to be treated, never forget to say thank you, and anything worth achieving is worth working hard for.
