Working with Jacquie was undeniably the best decision I made for my first home purchase! After reading her countless positive Zillow reviews (including being in the business for over 30yrs and a solid track record of closing transactions every month), I submitted an inquiry, and she responded immediately! I knew she was the perfect agent after my first call with her. She was very confident, knowledgeable, thoroughly explained the buying process, and was ready to work with me immediately. She was the first agent I talked to, and I didn't even bother trying to talk to another. She was IT. The very next day, we were already seeing houses. When she knew I was interested in a property, she made sure to build a relationship and talk me up to the seller and their agent. If we had questions about the house and the seller/agent wasn't at the showing, she immediately called the agent and got the answers (and whatever other info she can get!). And when I wanted to put in an offer, she negotiated to help me get a better price. I was shocked to have gotten 2 offers accepted within 2-3 weeks! When the sellers backed out of the first one, Jacquie went straight into action and helped me secure the second in less than a week! She noticed during the showing that my partner and I were clicking with the sellers and helped foster that relationship. We ended up talking with the sellers on their porch for ~1.5hrs! We also found out that since Jacquie is from the Rahway area, she had lots of mutual friends with the sellers! Even though I wasn't the top offer, the sellers liked us and Jacquie so much that they wanted to pick us, so Jacquie negotiated with their agent to find a price that makes both sides happy...and they accepted! Jacquie also connected me with her lender and lawyer who were also absolutely incredible to work with. Jacquie and her team of resources made this purchase so smooth that my stress was minimal. After getting accepted, Jacquie was available any time I had a question. Also, she was so knowledgeable about the Rahway area that even the sellers agent was asking her what they should do! All parties were so happy with how things were going, and I'm so beyond happy to have worked with her. If you're thinking about working with her, DO IT. It'll be THE BEST decision you'll make. You'll be thinking why you didn't approach her sooner :)

We had very specific guidelines as to what sort of houses we were interested in, which undoubtedly made the search harder because very few actually met our criteria over the year we were looking. Jacquie was very patient and understanding during the long wait for houses that were a match, and generally only recommended those that looked like a potential match.In terms of her experience with the process of purchasing the house, once we had committed to purchasing a home she knew exactly what steps we had to take care of and when it had to happen. We had to close within about a month, and Jacquie helped us reach that goal by giving us clear feedback on what needed to be done, and useful contacts to assist with the next steps.I can not overstate how responsive Jacquie was during our time working together. There were some occasions where she responded to us in seconds, or at unusual times of day where I expected to hear back the following morning. I'm not sure how she does it, but it was very much appreciated.Jacquie gave good advice when we were considering what our bids should be in an extremely competitive housing market. She shared information on similar houses that sold recently to help us get a sense of whether we were over or under bidding. One problem we had was that we weren't very open about our finances initially, which led to us not being as competitive as we could have been on an earlier offer. I don't fault Jacquie for that though, I just mention it as a recommendation for other first time home buyers in a very strong sellers market to consider that it could cause you to miss out on a home you like.Jacquie has lived in Metuchen for the long term and is an active community member. She is well known by local lenders, lawyers, contractors, etc. Even a month after the purchase, she is still providing useful contacts.Overall, I would definitely recommend Jacquie for those purchasing a home in Metuchen or the surrounding local area.
