Community Influencer Community Involvement * Founder of the Latinas of Southern Maryland organization and social media page since 2015. Our focus is to bring unity among Latinos and a place to meet and interact. We stay active and proactive in the community by donating school supplies to the St Mary's County Public School & Calvert County Public School ESL Program. In the past, we have contributed donations for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico and other storms in different countries with the help of other local businesses throughout the years. We have provided food/donations to shelters and local families in need of support. We held monthly or quarterly coffee events for old and new members of Latinas of Southern Maryland and have held many Latin community events during the summer. We have partnered with the Town of Leonardtown community events coordinator and other small businesses to hold events for the community and to support other local businesses. I have personally been invited and participated as a spokeswoman at the Women's Rights March in Annapolis, MD to represent the Latin Community of Southern Maryland. * I've maintained a strong relationship with many small businesses and stayed connected with representatives from the St. Mary's Housing Authority and the Social Services Department of both counties. * I'm an active member of a community-based group, The Conversation Starters, concerning race and reconciliation. We meet every quarter to talk via zoom or in person about issues that are negatively impacting the community and the country. * I'm an active supporter of the Shifting the Paradigm Back to Humanity Annual Conference that focuses on how to find balance and healing in this country. * I'm a community influencer focused on providing resources and support for the Southern Maryland Community by holding a strong presence via all social media and local events. * I was featured in 2022 by the Washington Post Jobs as part of Century 21 New Millennium Top Workplace in the country and for their diversity among agents and clients. * I'm self-directed, extroverted, and extremely driven in my ambitions with thirty-plus years of experience working with the public.
