My wife and I worked with Irene on buying our first home in Jersey City for a couple of months in 2024. We had been slowly looking at listings on our own through Zillow in various neighborhoods of New York and New Jersey. In this way we were getting emails from several companies, agents, etc and it was a very scattered and unfulfilling experience. We decided to focus our search and work exclusively with Irene after a friends recommendation. We could not have been happier with the end result being buying a new home after just a couple of months working together. I will describe the process of working with Irene so others can get a good understanding of our experience. Firstly, she was careful to send us only listings that met our specifications. This meant we were not wasting time at open houses that weren't houses we would potentially want to put an offer on. In total, I believe we ended up going to only two appointments with Irene before we found the house we fully liked and was in our budget. Very efficient! Second, because she is extremely knowledge both of the market conditions and the area, she was able to immediately recommend to us an offer price that was in our budget but also would be extremely competitive. Our offer was accepted early the next day as she predicted, which saved us the stress of a bidding war and worrying about the offer. In the next phase, she was able to recommend a slew of high quality professionals which completed our inspections, a lawyer to work with, and anybody else we might need during the process. We were happy with all of her recommendations - everyone was professional and helpful. Throughout the entire process, Irene was extremely responsive - we were able to message her with all of our first time home buying questions and she was extremely patient and helpful in answering them or directing us to the proper avenues. She was also there for every one of our in person meetings at the house on time, and is extremely reliable. There were some moments where we needed her there on short notice and she was able to be flexible enough to move her schedule to accommodate our needs. In short, Irene was a perfect agent for us as first time homebuyers and I am certain she would be an amazing asset for others as well. And in general we felt that she truly cared about us and our decision. Thank you Irene!!!!!
