Have a clear understanding of the area, the type of home and your budget before starting the search. However, always be open to adjusting your criteria as you will sometimes be surprised as to what turns out to be your dream home!

Be ready to think of your home as a product that you offering to qualified prospects. It's hard to separate your line of thinking but the memories you have of your home are yours to keep and cherish but will not convert into value to a prospect. Keep that in mind and you will have a much easier transition emotionally.

The bulk of my clients have been first-time home buyers, investors and sellers who are relocating.

One recent transaction was a single-woman who had worked very hard to own her first home. She was very decisive but also very open to listening to my expertise. It made for a wonderful and smooth transaction. She was so excited and that's my favorite part of what I do.
