Howard went above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience and found a home that we loved. He was very knowledgeable and responsive to all of our questions. He was proactive in researching property values and notifying us when new houses were listed that we might be interested in. At the same time, he was patient and we never felt pressured at all. Howard was flexible to work around our work schedules and to do home showings with relatively short notice. Overall, Howard made our first home purchase a very smooth process, and we would definitely work with him again!

I wanted to be completely honest with my review, for that reason I didn't just put all 5 stars and move on. That being said let's start with the 4 star. Howard always answers questions. I never had the issue of him not answering period. Sometimes it could be around 4 to 5 hours later. Which honestly in the house buying process is, in my opinion acceptable. It never put us in a tough situation having to wait. It is the only thing I would honestly say could use some minor improvement. Howard is by far my favorite realtor that I have worked with. (I had looked at houses off and on for around five years and didn't stay with the same realtor every time I would start looking again. I wanted to see how different realtors handled their businesses.) When I met with Howard Thruston the first time my wife and I were very impressed. However I wasn't able to buy a house again because I was soon laid off from my job. We decided that when it was time to look again that we would go back to Howard because of his ability to be patient and help with literally anything he could. (I once needed to send a fax ASAP and didn't know anyone with a fax machine so I asked Howard for help and he did it no questioned asked. The fax had nothing to do with buying a house.)How is the right guy for anyone for a few reasons:1) He knows the local area well. He was able to tell me which properties to avoid and why they should be avoided. And also which properties were a good deal and should be jumped on if we were interested in what it it offered. He also can help you buy properties that are further away, I bought a house 2 hours from Orem UT, and Howard drove out there 2 times to go through the house with me. 2) Howard Thruston knows the process well, he will let you know ahead of time what to expect and how to prepare so that nothing comes as a big surprise. He also will call weekly while under contract to make sure everything is going smooth. 3) Howard is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. He never made us feel pressured and will go to great lengths to see that the process is not a stressful one. My overall experience was very positive, I recommend Howard Thruston to anyone who is looking at houses. Once he works with you, you want anyone else I promise.
