Howard went above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience and found a home that we loved. He was very knowledgeable and responsive to all of our questions. I wanted to be completely honest with my review, for that reason I didn't just put all 5 stars and move on. That being said let's start with the 4 star. Howard always answers questions. I never had the issue of him not answering period. Sometimes it could be around 4 to 5 hours later. Which honestly in the house buying process is, in my opinion acceptable. It never put us in a tough situation having to wait. It is the only thing I would honestly say could use some minor improvement. Howard is by far my favorite realtor that I have worked with. (I had looked at houses off and on for around five years and didn't stay with the same realtor every time I would start looking again. I wanted to see how different realtors handled their businesses.) When I met with Howard Thruston the first time my wife and I were very impressed. However I wasn't able to buy a house again because I was soon laid off from my job. We decided that when it was time to look again that we would go back to Howard because of his ability to be patient and help with literally anything he could. (I once needed to send a fax ASAP and didn't know anyone with a fax machine so I asked Howard for help and he did it no questioned asked. The fax had nothing to do with buying a house.)How is the right guy for anyone for a few reasons:1) He knows the local area well. He was able to tell me which properties to avoid and why they should be avoided. And also which properties were a good deal and should be jumped on if we were interested in what it it offered. He also can help you buy properties that are further away, I bought a house 2 hours from Orem UT, and Howard drove out there 2 times to go through the house with me. 2) Howard Thruston knows the process well, he will let you know ahead of time what to expect and how to prepare so that nothing comes as a big surprise. He also will call weekly while under contract to make sure everything is going smooth. 3) Howard is extremely friendly and easy to get along with. He never made us feel pressured and will go to great lengths to see that the process is not a stressful one. My overall experience was very positive, I recommend Howard Thruston to anyone who is looking at houses. Once he works with you, you want anyone else I promise.

Howard is sharp and doesn't just go through the motions as a realtor. He does this the right way-- it's a full-time job for him. He is looking to make sure your needs get met and won't let you make a bad decision even if you are okay with your decision. He also is caring and every call I made to him or whenever I felt like I was being too needy he would say, "No, it's not a problem. That's what I'm here for." He had the right attitude and perspective on his job. The property I purchased turned out to have way too many hang-ups with the seller, the insurance company, and the lender. There were way more headaches than I realized there were gonna be and Howard all along persevered with a positive attitude. We ended up with 12 addendums to our original contract which I thought would have pushed my realtor over the edge-- but he kept on trucking.He also does check-in calls frequently which I appreciate. And, his secretary was awesome. Whenever he had another appointment and I needed to get into the condo I was preparing to purchase, she would be there opening the place for me.I whole-heartedly recommend Howard and his team. He did a fantastic job.

Howard was great. He got the home listed very quickly and it was done very professionally. The home was listed the same day that we provided him the listing information. Howard was available whenever I needed him or had questions and got the very most possible out of our home.
