I worked with Hope after my house had been on the market for over 90 days. My listing expired because my previous realtor was only interested in receiving a payday without any work. I interviewed several realtors careful not to repeat my first mistake. I was discouraged and needed help! When i was at my lowest, Hopes enthusiastic personality gave me Hope. As we went through this process together sometimes she would tell me things I didnt want to hear specifically when it came to the price point of the house. Nevertheless her advice was correct. The first realtor had it all wrong. Hope always had my best interest at the forefront of all decisions. I was able to get my house sold but it took a realtor with the work ethic and experience in the market to get it done. I highly recommend Hope if youre looking for a Realtor and I thank her from the bottom of my heart!

I have bought and sold several homes in the past 7 years among 4 different states. I am very aware of the real estate transaction process from both a buyers and sellers perspective. I used Hope as a selling agent. I would not recommend Hope as a selling agent to a 1st time or inexperienced home seller. Our property ended up not being listed at the desired list price because the deciding half of my partnership was dissuaded to do so by her negative attitude toward it. I have never asked for a property to be listed at a ridiculous amount and have always received offers at my originally listed price. She was constantly commenting she did not think the property would appraise, even at the compromised list price. If I couldve gone with another agent after she continued to make this remark I would have. She said it multiple times even after receiving multiple offers above asking price. At the end of the day the property did appraise. I hope she has learned her lesson. Additionally, her poor advice in the repair negotiation cost us more money than if she had done what we originally requested in our first response to repairs...alas we went with her advice and paid more for it. I would recommend her to a very experienced seller, mostly for the discounted listing fee, advising the seller to go with your knowledge and gut vice hers. Also, lesson learned to my partner.

Hope worked with my husband and I while we were still living out of the area. She made time to help us find a great home in Norfolk. She drove all over the area from Norfolk to Chesapeake and took entire days to ensure we were able to see the houses we wanted to. In the end she was there to negotiate our offer, was present during our home inspection and followed up after closing to make sure we were settling in okay. I highly recommend Hope and the entire CapCenter team! They were wonderful to work with!
