Specialties: Buyer's Agent, Listing Agent, Relocation, Consulting Herb Schock joined the Re/Max team in 2006 after many years of experience working in various other aspects of the real estate business. For more than 25 years he operated his own general contracting business in Key West and the Lower Florida Keys where he helped numerous clients build their dream homes, including several renovations of old Victorian residences in Key West''s historic district. At the same time Herb was helping his many clients put their dream homes together, he was managing his own properties which included rental properties and spec homes that he built and marketed. Years working as an intermediary between Architects and Owners, building custom homes, renovating historic homes, and managing rental properties offered a great platform to develop skills in negotiation and problem solving. In his later years in Key West, Herb began working as a Realtor. This broad based experience helps a great deal when working on behalf of his real estate clients in Sedona today. Herb was born and raised in Michigan farm country, developed a strong Mid-Western work ethic working along side his father on the family farm ( still in the family, now well over 100 years), graduated from college in Detroit and studied overseas at the University of Hamburg in Germany. He and his wife Francine, a French Canadian from Montreal, Canada (Quebec) discovered Sedona on one of their many cross country trips. They have lived in Sedona since 2001 and now reside in West Sedona. They currently own 5 properties in Sedona, three homes and two building lots.
