The first item on the list would be to speak with a lender and get qualified to purchase a home. Secondly, call a Realtor-it is always wise to call at least three agents and visit with them. You will be working with your Realtor for a month or so and your personalities need to click. There are lots of homes on the market so provide your Realtor a "wants/needs" list and that will help her better help service you.

Interview agents and ask them how they are going to market your home to get it sold FAST. Listen to your Realtor when it comes to pricing your home. We want your home to sell quickly. Your agent will provide you with a Comparative Market Analysis Report. This Report will show you what homes sold for that are comparable to yours, how long it was on the market and how it sold. Appraisers will also have access to these numbers, so if you over price your home, it will not sell. Buyers also do their own price comparisons on the internet. We work on commission so if we do not sell your home, we do not get paid.
