What clients say about this agent....
Selling our house was easy because of the people we worked with at Heather Skender-Newton. It listed and sold quickly. We were made aware of all showings, comments or questions.
We worked with Tammy and had the best experience! She has her clients interest at the fire front at every turn. She communicated with us on all matters in real time. She was a stranger who became a trusted friend and professional quickly! We highly recommend her and will use her again if we are ever in the buying or selling market again!!
We cant thank Heather and her team enough! We were so discouraged from a bad experience with another realtor. Heather listened to us and made sure everything was always taken care of. She made the home selling process ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! She instantly took care of any and all situations in a kind and professional manner!!! Blessings to you Heather and your team!!! Thank You!!!
Heather and her team were great. Very professional. They did everything for us. It was a great experience. They sold our house quickly and with such ease. It was great we will be using them again when we buy again. Can't say enough good things about them. We would recommend them to anyone. They are a 10 out of 10.

Brandon Farley, when I see that name I have to take a step back and reflect. Then and only then, can I truly understand what Brandon means to my family. My Wife Amy and I had all but given up on Realtors. After loosing four house contracts due to negligence from our former Realtors, and close to 10k in lost earnest money deposits, our personal life was hitting every proverbial wall you can imagine. These homes lost, were out of state, and we had sold our home in early 2021, so we have been technically homeless for well over a year now. Staying with family, and friends, watching the world implode on itself, we were definitely feeling a true dose of reality. So we took a road trip to GA to see a cousin. On that road trip we stopped in Cookeville, TN. Immediately fell in love with the area, and cold called a Reality Office via a Sean Hannity website. Brandon answered the call, and I immediately gave him a run down of my last year, making it perfectly clear I dont trust Realtors. Brandon did not flinch (sign #1). Knowing we were in town only for a few days, Brandon without asking for a pre approval letter, or making us jump through hoops, cleared his schedule to show us homes on a whim (sign #2).We saw several homes that day, all nice but none that fit the entire checklist. Brandon, quickly picked up on our tastes, needs, wants and dreams (sign #3). He knew we were looking for our forever home, but we just didnt find anything on the market during that afternoon. So we parted ways that night, with the assumption we would keep in touch. See what you dont know is Brandon grew on us (Wife, and aEURoeMommaaEUR?). We saw that Brandon is not a Realtor. He is a Father, a husband, son, Coach, and a Man with true integrity. He truly is a good human being (sign #4).That same night we said our goodbyes, yet Brandon didnt give up behind the scenes. He called us at 7pm, and said he found aEURoeour houseaEUR?, I called BS right away, he had only spent a day with us, how could he even be that arrogant. So we went to look at the house, and it was in fact My Wifes and Moms dream home. So we put in an offer, and Brandon stayed up till 11pm that night to get it signed and accepted (sign #5) yes it happened that fast. Thats not arrogance, thats due diligence, dedication, loyalty, attention to detail, and fighting for your client. See Brandon, quickly knew what we needed and wanted cause he payed attention and listened. He found us our dream home, period (sign #6).We had some speed bumps along the way, but Brandon without hesitation had our backs, and fought for us without us asking. He put on his boots and hit the trenches with us (sign #7). We now are closing in 2 days, and could not be happier. Brandon Farley is true representation of what you get when someone loves their job, has rare Integrity, and is just a good man. We have grown very fond of him, and his Mother Brenda who has helped us along the way too. We now consider him family. So I leave you with this, how many signs do you need before you realize Brandon Farley is the Real Estate Professional you want in your corner. We cant thank you enough Brandon,With Love and Respect
We have used Skender-Realty for our last 3 home transactions and let me just say, they are the best! Tyler has helped us buy our last 2 homes and has always looked out for our best interest. He's knowledgeable about the area and market. He's very patient and willing to help in anyway he can. Heather Connor helped us sell our last home with amazing results! We had over 30 showings within a couple days, multiple offers and we got $35,000 over our asking price! We recommend them to everyone!
Our thanks for Tammy and Stephanie for helping us buy our dream home in TN. We had a unique situation which required unique solutions. The SNR team was up to all the challenges. They welcomed us to the area and gave recommendations for services/businesses we will use in the future. Great job from the whole team.
Jenny listed and sold our home- she was very responsive, down to earth, and knew her role in the transaction amazingly. They have multiple employees on the team that specialize on different parts of the transaction along the way and came across as VERY efficient and a well coordinated team effort. You arent just getting one person, you are getting a whole crew. They are unique in their approach and I believe a trend setter for other firms in the Upper Cumberland to mirror. I am a lender wi the Wilson Bank and the more deals I work with the agents over at SNR, the more I appreciate how on top of their game and seamless they make this process. They are a tight knit group that works together as a team/family for a common goal.
We recently worked with Missy Haney of Skender Newton Realty to purchase a house in the Cookeville area while we were out of state. As we were first time home buyers in today's market, she went above and beyond to help our dream of becoming home owners a reality. She did several virtual tours with us and was very thorough. We were very worried about buying a house that we weren't there to see in person, but working with Missy eased our mind and we were able to find exactly the house we were looking for. I would highly recommend Missy and the Skender Newton team for anyone looking to buy a home.
