My family retained Gwen to represent our father in the sale of his Florida home in North Fort Myers. After living over thirty of his retirement years in FL and 27 in this house with his recently departed spouse of 72 years, it was time to sell the house and return to CT.Gwen came highly recommended by a mutual Realtor friend who had recently moved away from the Fort Myers area.It cannot be overstated how pleased we were with her as a professional, but more importantly as a person. Gwen navigated us through the sale and closing process providing advice and assistance in preparing the house for sale. Two days before the scheduled closing date Hurricane Ian devastated the area. Despite damage to the property and being professionally and personally impacted by the devastation Gwen continued to represent our family as if the house were her own. Gwen sold us our home in 2019 and took her time showing us different neighborhoods and making sure we found one that fit our needs. She knew so much about the Gateway area. Gwen was such an AMAZING realtor to work with during this very difficult process of selling our home and purchasing a condo. She ALWAYS kept our interests in mind, protecting us from common pitfalls, every step of the way! She negotiated our deals with both our buyer and our sellers and we are very happy with how it all ended up. She got us through Hurricane Ian's aftermath too! We were supposed to sign on the day the storm hit and as soon as the storm passed, she was trying to reach us the very next day, to find out how we fared. She fought for us TIRELESSLY and we were able to close within 2 weeks after the storm! She even checked in with us after the move had taken place, to see how we liked our new home.
