A little bit about myself, I am a full-time single parent in the military and was stationed at San Diego during the entire process. I wasn?t sure at the time if I should purchase a home or not. I was afraid to commit but it?s my second time being stationed in the area and would like to consider retiring here in WA. I would highly suggest thinking about your financial stability not just for the next 3-5 years, but the long haul maybe even discuss with a financial specialist if you need assistance. I met Gretchen Morgan while surfing online for the houses I was interested in. I had no idea how the process works other than asking friends who had already purchased homes or watching videos and online research. I was very lucky to have met a wonderful Real Estate Professional who relates to what I was going through and understands the buyers worrisome flow of thought. There were times I would say she worried more than I did. She worked with me through the selection, gathering of information, provided personal and professional opinions and assistance through the lending, title processing and closing. I did not feel alone during the entire process, she knows the area very well and will provide you up-to-date information and close on time if not earlier than requested. I remember she went through the properties late at night to provide feedback. It didn?t matter what time of day it was, when I send her messages thinking I would get a response the following day, there she was within minutes answering all my questions. Let me remind you that I was not in the area and had some great friends of mine do some of the site visits with her ? including pre-inspection and final inspection. She was very thorough in providing information even gave me multiple routes to and from work. I had contacted different Real Estate Agents before I met her, and I would say that unless you had pre-approved loan, no one seems to take me seriously. Gretchen was different, ?Send me as many addresses you want me to research and I?ll do that!? She values each client as if they were the only people she was assisting even through the holidays. I felt that she was going way above and beyond a Real Estate Professional would. I met her mid-December, she assisted me with communicating with the lender and within hours I had a pre-approved loan, we found a new construction in Illahee/Bremerton area. The pictures in the website were not updated so she went and took plenty of pictures. I would say from the time I met her, we had pre-approved loan just two days later, we found the home within 10 days and I know each experience is different for everyone. We made an offer around 21st, had a counter and accepted on 22nd of December. I wanted a closing date around 31st of January, they were ready to close by the 22nd of January maybe even earlier. I was blessed to find an amazing Real Estate Professional and a wonderful friend who helped make my dream a reality, sight unseen.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen personally drove my girlfriend and I to listings. Was very flexible in scheduling to look at listings. Would not push us to do anything. And would not let us make a choice that would hurt us. I believe throughout the whole process Gretchen put our overall happiness in the house we choose over making just another sale.

ZillowVERIFIED We had been looking for land to build on, and had gotten thoroughly frustrated by the process, and decided on a whim to stop in at a local John L. Scott office. Boy, did we get lucky! Gretchen asked good questions about what we REALLY wanted, looked at the floor plan of what we wanted to build, and said she thought that house existed, and was for sale. We were on our way to an unrelated appointment, and had to leave. By the time we got home, we had an email with listings for three homes. Two were lovely, and probably would have been fine. The third one was IT. MY HOUSE. Absolutely PERFECT. We made an offer as soon as we saw it, and closed on schedule. Like most transactions, there were negotiations and challenges, and the whole time, I knew she was working to protect my interests. She kept me informed all along the process, and was very responsive, even into the late night hours, when we had questions. Extra bonuses, she is friendly and funny, along with being an excellent Realtor. I hope I never have to buy another house, but if I ever do, Id choose her again.
