I never felt pressured to make a decision- always felt like Jerry had our best interests in mind.He set up an appointment with a great home inspector who helped us avoid major costly repairs right after purchase. Numerous problems that weren't obvious from the outside were found before it was too late: orangeburg sewer lines, improper heating lines, etc. Jerry was always very responsive and helped us go from viewing to closing in 40 days (not that you should always expect that- this did require everyone involved to stay on the ball). I didn't leave him with much opportunity to negotiate due to a very tight time-frame and limited options on the market.I would highly recommend Jerry to anyone searching for a house in the SE Michigan area.

ZillowVERIFIEDJerry Smith worked with my wife and I to develop timing and price levels that would maximize our return. We did not have a "hard date" to sell the house; we were not under any pressure to sell, such as a job move, etc. The house was originally listed in 2014 and we did not generate the interest and offers expected. The house was taken off the market and relisted in early 2015. Jerry scheduled Open House events during both years to promote the property. He also recognized the unique features of the house including the lot which offers a private setting in the back yard. The key features were organized into a one-page brochure and handed out during open houses. It worked, and we are very pleased with his service and the sales price and highly recommend Jerry (Gerald) Smith.
