My parents had passed and it was time to sell their house. I've never owned a home so this process was completely new to me. Initially I wasn't even going to hire a realtor to save on commission costs but after hearing some horror stories, I decided going fsbo was not the way to go. It was a big decision and I didn't take it lightly, I interviewed 12 realtors! I chose Gate Arty and his team because out of everyone, he had the most creative ideas on how to market the home and he was really passionate about being the right realtor for me. He seemed to genuinely want it and that was important to me because I loved this house and I knew he would do right by it (and he did!). He was extremely professional, I liked that he was from the area as well. He always kept in contact and got back to me promptly. He gave excellent advice to help me get the home ready for sale...it was supposed to go live in December but a burst water pipe dramatically changed that plan! Gate hooked me up with the construction company that took care of the restoration, who just so happened to be expert negotiators with my insurance company. Seven months later It finally went up for sale and Gate had guided me through the whole process from choosing the new floors and paint colors to what to expect when it finally hit the market. By this time I had already moved but I felt confident in essentially leaving my home in his care. It went up on a Friday and I had the offer by Monday. I highly recommend Gate Arty and his team if you want the job done right... I'm incredibly grateful that I chose him, don't know where I'd be if I didn't!
