Gail Robinson went far beyond the normal duties of a realtor. I was stuck in Chicago due to the COVID-19 virus and had to coordinate off site every aspect from fixing up home to selling and moving furniture from my moms house. She provided me with contacts for local contractors and frequently had to show up at the house to do nothing more than let the professionals in to quote or perform their jobs. There were a lot of extra trips by Gail. Gail provided excellent and understandable advice during the whole process: what to fix up, what to leave as is; detailed market comparables and selecting an asking price; staging the house for showings; responding to buyers inspection; and solving a disaster afternoon before closing.The disaster struck noon time Thursday before Friday morning closing when my house auctioneer failed to clear out half of the household items remaining in home. In a matter of hours Gail hired local movers to pick up and haul away everything remaining in the house and a cleaning service such that the buyers walk through Friday morning was cleared for the noon time closing. These were absolute impossibilities for me to solve from Chicago. Communications with Gail were done by email, cell phone and text messages. All handled well and timely. Documents were signed on line with Docusign. Very convenient. Gail earned her commission and I gained a convenient home sale of my mothers estate.
