My husband and I had been researching purchasing a condo for over a year. I came across Gail Peterson Bell's website and decided to reach out to her for assistance. Gail's Realtor Associate Assistant, Samantha Wargo, and she came out to our home. I knew when I met them both they were so relaxed, knowledgeable and not pretentious in any way that they would be a fit for us. We found a detached condominium in Duxbury that we felt would work for our family and decided to sell our home of some 18 years. They viewed my home and gave me some tips and we put the house on the market within approximately 10 - 14 days maybe even a week. We were ready. Samantha, Gail's associate, predominantly handled the transactions, selling my house and working with the realtor of the condo we were purchasing with fine style and without a glitch. She was so on top of everything and extremely responsive and knowledgeable. She never, ever, lost sight of our goal and worked tirelessly to accomplish it for us. We would even text her well into the evening at times. I would send a text around 10pm thinking she would respond sometime the next day, and the next thing you know, Samantha was on board responding. Unreal!! Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, she was there.Selling and buying a home is one of the most difficult, tiring things a person/couple will ever do and it is so helpful when you work with such professional people and you have a question, you reach out, and you get a response as quickly as a family member would respond, that is just unheard of. This deal did take four months as the party sold it and then put it back on again (all while we were on a vacation and negotiating all week long). Samantha never gave up nor did Gail. There were a couple of difficult situations we came across that needed expertise and experience, and Gail was right there offering her advice on the phone. They assured us that if this deal did not go through, they would find us something else. They lined us up with a top-notch mortgage person and also a fabulous law office, Kellem & Kellem, which we also cannot say enough about. We were scared as this was a huge step going from a home to a condo, but trusted them 100%. When there was a deadline and things needed to get done and I could not get there from Boston quick enough, Samantha offered to be there to meet me when it was convenient for me. Gail was away on business at one point and we needed some documents notarized and another associate from their office stepped up to the plate - after work hours - and came to our home to get it done. You talk about teamwork?! We highly recommend this team to anyone and everyone. In fact, if you had questions, we would be happy to give you a call to discuss further that is how much we believe in Gail and Samantha and Sotheby's. Samantha is young and so pleasant, down to earth, and knowledgeable that I do not doubt that she has one extraordinary career in front of her.
