There were many typical challenges in this unpredictable housing market, such as a low inventory of affordable homes and the COVID-19 situation that significantly slowed down the home buying process. However, Evelyn went and beyond what is normally expected of a real estate agent. Knowing that I wanted to put in an offer for my now home, Evelyn tried all possible ways to contact the unresponsive selling agent, which is normal in this current market when a house could receive multiple offers within hours of being on the market. She also fought tooth and nail for my rights by renegotiating the contract when the seller wanted to remove all contingencies and include not so reasonable terms, which, again, is not unusual in this particular market.
