About Erin Nixon

As a native of North Carolina, Erin Nixon grew up outside of Charlotte and now lives and works in Elizabeth City. Her husband Will Nixon, a native to Elizabeth City, is a CPA. They have two Brittany spaniels: Dixie and Jan. Erin met Will while attending Appalachian State University where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. After Erin graduated from college, she worked for a national medical company as a sales representative in North and South Carolina. Erin began her real estate career in 2005. She trained alongside her mother-in-law and is now partnered with Phyllis Bosomworth. Erin went on to get her broker's license and has recently attained her Certified Real Estate Specialist designation, which is held by less than 4% of all REALTORS(R) nationwide. Erin achieved membership in Long and Foster Real Estate's president's club after her first year of sales. This membership is based on settled business throughout the year. Erin is involved in the community and serves as an ambassador for the Elizabeth City Chamber of Commerce and also serves her local board of REALTORS(R) by chairing New Membership and Programming at their monthly meetings. We first met Phyllis when we happily bought a home sight unseen as a military family years ago from her. We just sold our home in NC while living in Alaska, again with Phyllis and her team and it was EASY! They handled numerous contractors and getting the "rental property" up to "beautiful home available" with such professionalism. There was quick communication, plenty of pictures, her expertise helped us have great negotiating of services and choices with options. This was not a usual set of circumstances. We could not be more pleased with how beautiful the home looked-thank you Erin! We are so very happy that it sold quickly and the credit is all Phyllis and her team!
